We are perfectly positioned to utilise the highly productive Western Channel fisheries and the best fishing ports in the UK. Our own fleet land locally into Brixham, Newlyn and Salcombe.

Whether it is prime octopus or fresh shellfish from a potting vessel, by sourcing through our sister company’s fleet, we maintain total control over quality and traceability.

Octopus Vulgaris

Widely distributed from North Africa, the Mediterranean and now the UK, this species arrived on our local shores in 2025. Due to the short fishing trips, we can deliver some of the freshest octopus available in the UK. Waterdance Trading can supply up to 25 tonnes per week.

    MANAGER

    Martyn brings years of expertise in managing one of the UK’s most respected fishing fleets. Driven by a passion for sustainability and quality, he identified a growing demand for premium, locally sourced shellfish - and in July 2025, Waterdance Trading was born. Today, Martyn ensures every client experiences the very best of Devon and Cornwall, combining exceptional products with unmatched service.

    OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

    George joined Waterdance Trading as Operations and Logistics Coordinator, bringing valuable experience from his family’s shellfish trading business in Salcombe and Newlyn. With a strong background in the shellfish industry, George now oversees key operational processes, including landings, vessel planning, and export documentation. His focus is on ensuring customers receive the highest-quality products quickly and efficiently.
